  • This scholarship gives $25,000 towards tuition fees and other living costs for an academic session.

#3. Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarships

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships are offered to International students for studies in Georgia or other countries. 

Applicants from non-traditional backgrounds, and who are more embedded in financial challenges are encouraged to apply. 

This scholarship renders awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year university or college to partake in study and intern abroad programs in the world.

  • It is open to only U.S citizens. 

 

#4. Omega Psi Phi Scholarships

The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Offers scholarships to international students in Georgia. 

This scholarship is funded by the Omega Life Membership Foundation, Inc. through the fraternity. 

The awards are open to recognizing undergraduate students nationally and globally, to support their academic education to achieve success. 

Recipient benefits

  • The recipient of the award will get up to $5,000 and more for expenses including travel, lodging, and registration fees. 

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Citizens from Georgia as well as other countries are eligible. 
  • The program is available for undergraduate study in any subject.
  • Fraternity members should be in good standing to be qualified to receive an award.
  • An applicant can only compete for one award at the international level.

#5. Title VIII Fellowships

The American Council for International Education provides funding under the auspices of the Title VIII program which calls for academic finance to be provided for scholars who hold a Bachelor\’s degree or higher and are undergoing important research and study programs in Georgia or other  Eastern European countries.

#6. Lehmann-Haupt International Doctoral Scholarship at Ilia State University in Georgia

Ilia State University provides 12 fully funded scholarships for International students in Georgia for doctoral studies. 

It is Funded by the German VolkswagenStiftung and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. 

Recipient benefits

  • Recipients receive €500 per month for the duration of the program.
