  • Scholarship worth up to $2,500 for a one-term study experience.
  • $2,500 to $5,000 for a one-term work or volunteer experience
  • $10,000 for a two-term work or volunteer experience.
  • The International Master’s Award of Excellence is valued at $2,500 per term for a maximum of 6 terms.

3. Douglas College International Student Scholarships

Douglas College International Student Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship for international students in Canada. 

This scholarship was started in 2017 to support the recruitment of international students involved in athletic activities to Douglas College and to assist with their finances. 

Recipient benefit

  • The award covers up to CAD 7000 of the tuition fees. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The English language is required. 
  • All World Countries are eligible. 
  • Candidates need to submit a High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 60% equivalent or greater.

3. University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships

The Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba offers scholarships to international students for Master’s and Ph.D. studies in Canada.

It is funded by the Government of Canada to enhance Canada’s ability to attract and retain world-class doctoral students in natural sciences, health, humanities, etc.

  • The Scholarship is valued at $50,000 per year for three years of doctoral studies.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Required Language: English. 
  • Applicants from around the world, plus citizens and permanent residents of Canada are eligible. 
  • Applicants should be nominated by only one Canadian institution, which must have received a Vanier CGS quota. 
  • Candidates for the scholarship must not have a doctoral degree already. 

 

University Canada West Scholarships

University Canada West Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students in Canada. 

This scholarship is only offered for undergraduate and master\’s studies at the University Canada West.

Tier 1:

  • $10,000 for an Undergraduate Associate of Arts Degree.

Tier 2:

  • $4,000 for an Undergraduate Associate of Arts Degree.

7. Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program

Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program is a scholarship for international students for master\’s and Ph.D. studies. 

The program is fully funded by the Government of Canada and intends to develop organizational potential by training staff from developing countries of La Francophonie.

Recipient benefits

  • The average amount of the scholarship fund yearly is $35,000. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The French language is required. 
  • Eligible Countries are Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros, & Other Countries from Africa.
  • Aspirants identified and chosen may apply for university studies leading to a master’s and doctoral degree.
  • Institutions targeted by recipient nations conduct internal recruitment campaigns to identify qualified candidates. 
  • Applicants are selected by using a quota system for each recipient country.
