We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Officer to join our team in Abuja. As the Public Relations Officer, you will work closely with the PR team to develop and execute effective communication and media relations programs. You will be responsible for developing a marketing communications plan and sales strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media, coordinating all public relations activities, and managing media inquiries and interview requests. Additionally, you will direct the social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media, create content for articles and keynote presentations, and evaluate PR results quarterly.
The ideal candidate will have a BA/BSc or MSc/MA Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline. Candidates with degrees in other disciplines who have relevant experience in Public Relations and procurement are also encouraged to apply. You should have 2-4 years of proven working experience in Public Relations and a track record of designing and executing successful PR campaigns at both a local and national level. Additionally, you should possess exceptional writing and graphics skills, strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets, and solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Possession of Content and communication, Creative Copywrite and editorial, Creative Design and videography skills will be an added advantage.
