Pyramids Diagnostics Services is a leading diagnostic service provider in Nigeria, dedicated to bridging the gap in the diagnostic arm of the health sector.
Our services range from pre-admission and pre-employment medical examination to various laboratory tests including molecular testing, paternity DNA testing, and cancer-related testing. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:
- Collect blood, urine, or other samples and perform analysis and experimentation on them.
- Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures.
- Maintain laboratory quality assurance and safety standards.
- Cross-match blood for transfusion and evaluate test results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
- Organize and store all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
- Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Test and study blood, urine, and other body fluids.
- Guide and supervise junior staff and technicians.
Requirements:
- B.Sc Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and completion of an internship program.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Registration with the Medical Laboratory Science council of Nigeria is required.
- Good listening and communication skills.

- Record-keeping skills.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Patience, adaptability, and dependability.
- Knowledge of the use and operation of laboratory equipment such as microscopes.
- In-depth knowledge of QHSE Systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
