Medplus, Nigeria’s foremost health and beauty retailer, is seeking to hire an experienced HR Manager to join its dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Lagos.
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic administration of human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
You will be required to ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices, while reviewing and modifying policies and practices to maintain compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll considering overtime, flexible schedules, and seasonal employment, forecasting hiring needs, particularly at peak seasons, and tracking key recruiting metrics like cost-per-hire and source of hire, employee turnover rates (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
To be considered for this role, you must possess a B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. You should have 4-6 years of cognitive experience with a strong focus on payroll management, recruitment, and HR operations.
