Lesson 1: Bible study of the book of James
The book of James is a great place to start if you are looking for a short, simple study. It has five chapters, each one covering a different topic related to Christianity.
The first verse reads James, a servant of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings. This is an introductory sentence that sums up what the Bible’s purpose is – to teach Christians how they should live their lives.
Lesson 2: Bible study of the Gospel of John
This lesson is about studying the Gospel of John. The gospel of John covers the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. This lesson includes a passage from the gospel, questions to ponder, and discussion questions.
Lesson 3: Bible study of Ephesians
We are saved because of Jesus. We were all dead in our sins, but now that we have been made alive with Christ, our old selves have been crucified with him. Our sinful selves no longer dominate our lives.
Instead, God’s Spirit controls us. What is it like to be controlled by God’s Spirit? It means living a life of love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness.
These and many other lessons are what will be covered in this lesson.
Lesson 4: Who Is God?
God is God, Creator of Heaven and Earth. In Christianity, God has revealed Himself as three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7).
As Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations . . . baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The Christian faith proclaims that there is one God who exists eternally in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
This means that while each person is fully divine, there are not three Gods but one God who exists eternally as a community of love within Himself.
This lesson will teach you everything you need to know about who God is and what his nature is.
Lesson 5: How Did Sin Enter the World?
All people sin. It’s a simple fact that we all have broken God’s commands at some point, either by neglecting to obey or actively rebelling against him.
The question is: why? Why do we disobey our Creator? How did sin enter into a perfect world created by an infinitely wise and good God?
We need only look to Genesis 3 for an explanation of sin’s origin. In it, we find a beautiful picture of how one man’s free choice affected every person who has ever lived.
Lesson 6: How Can We Get Right with God?
To get right with God, we need to accept his gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
This lesson will help you learn about how a person can become saved by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
We will answer important questions, such as what is saving faith. What does it mean to be born again? How do we ask God for the forgiveness of sins? Can you lose your salvation once you are saved?
Lesson 7: The Consequences of Sin on Our Nature, Relationships, & Living Conditions
To understand how sin affects our nature, relationships, and living conditions, we must study what sin is concerning God.
Sin is a rebellion against God that stems from man’s inability to obey His commands due to self-centered pride.
The consequences of sin are separated from God, death, and suffering. Because of these consequences, mankind needs a Saviour who will pay for their sins through His death on the cross.
Jesus Christ came to earth as God in human form to die on the cross as payment for our sins. By accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you can be reconciled with God and experience eternal life.
Lesson 8: Biblical parable
Parables found in Matthew 13:1-58, 14:1-33, 18:23-35; Mark 4:1-25, 10:17-31; Luke 8:4-18. Parables are short stories Jesus told to teach spiritual truth or to illustrate a point he was trying to make.
They usually contain one main character who represents someone else. There are a lot of parables in the Bible. Some people assume that the parables are just stories, but they are more than that. They are intended to give you a new way to look at your life and the world around you.
If you are looking for a way to study the Bible, then these parables might be a good place to start. They can help you see how God views your life and what he has done for you in Jesus Christ.
Lesson 9: Our Sinful Nature
We are indeed sinful people. We were created to be holy, but we have turned away from God and broken His law.
God does not want us to remain in our sinful state, but He wants us to be born again and live as new creations in Him.
This is the reason why God has sent Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Redeemer.
He wants us to repent of our sins, turn away from them and accept Him as Lord of our lives.
He wants us to follow Him with all of our hearts and minds so that we can be saved from our sins and live eternally with Him in heaven.
This lesson is to make you understand your sinful nature and how to come out
Lesson 10: What Must I Do To Stay Saved?
What must I do to stay saved? We’re so glad you asked! The most important thing is to keep your trust in Jesus Christ. This means you’ve committed your life to Him and been baptized as a public show of that commitment.
The Bible also tells us that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ Jesus our Lord (Ephesians 2:8-9). Salvation cannot be earned or merited; it is a gift from God. We can’t earn it or merit it; it is something we receive through the work of Christ on the cross for our sins (Ephesians 2:8-9).
This lesson is to make you keep trusting in Jesus Christ every day,
